EXPRESS Demo Video for VIPKid Interview

Beginning in March 2019, all referred applicants are able to immediately complete the Express Demo Lesson in lieu of the traditional Demo Lesson.

What is an Express Demo Lesson?

Instead of scheduling a demo lesson through our recruitment portal, you can just shoot a three-minute video. You can shoot your video using your computer, tablet or smartphone. After that, send the video to teachvip@vipkid.com.cn as an attachment, or, in case the file is too large, you can upload it to YouTube/Google Cloud/Dropbox/ and send the link of the video to our email.  

What do I need to do in the 3-minute Demo?

  • Do a brief self-introduction. Tell us who you are, your education background, and your teaching experience.
  • Complete the activities in the Power Point slides. (Click here to download.)

How to send the video to VIPKID?
You can send the video to teachvip@vipkid.com.cn as an attachment, or, in case the file is too large, you can upload it to YouTube/Google Cloud/Dropbox/ and send the link of the video to our email. 
Do we have a deadline of this invitation?
We prefer to receive your video within 3 days, but we don't have a specific deadline for this invitation.
How do I get the result?
You will hear from us within 24 hours via email after you send us your video.
What's next after I pass the Express Demo Lesson?
If you pass (which we believe you will!), your next steps are to complete certification center and Contract Info stages.
What's next if I do not pass the Express Demo Lesson?
If you do not pass the Express Demo Lesson, we hope you take our feedback and can reapply using the two traditional methods of completing the Demo Lesson.

How would you like to work from wherever you wanted as long as you had a good internet connection? How would that change your life? How would that feel? Pretty awesome, right? I think so, and I've been doing it for almost 2 years now! My only regret is not doing it sooner! In late 2016, I decided to quit my job. I was tired of working long hours, having little to no control of my schedule #worktakespriority #nolife, and feeling like I was just treading water #goingnowhere.
